Creating a clear and enticing pitch deck is crucial at any stage of the fundraising process. Building a robust pitch deck forces you to think critically about your business plan and how you message it to others. This is no small feat. It’s not about making a pretty deck. It’s about clear and concise communication of the most important aspects of your business that walks investors through a compelling narrative.
We partner with Scroobious to bring to you this in-depth and hands-on workshop, which will provide the tools you need to create your own pitch deck and jumpstart your fundraising efforts!
Already have a deck? No problem! By attending this workshop, you can evaluate the content and structure of your current deck and make the necessary changes to ensure it aligns with investors’ expectations.
You’ll leave with an outline for creating a high-level pitch deck for angel groups and VCs that includes:
- A clear understanding of how your deck should be structured and flow
- Step-by-step guidelines for the information that should be covered on each slide of your deck
- An interactive environment where the entrepreneurs in attendance can discuss the structure and content of their pitches with the instructors and with each other
- A pitch deck workbook with a template for you to build your own slides
- Access to slides, resources and the recording of the workshop

Thanks to our partner
Scroobious is a mission-based startup building a platform and community to connect early-stage founders, investors, and partners. There are scores of great founders and companies that don’t make it due to structural barriers and closed networks. Scroobious is looking to change that. Although it is open to anyone, it primarily targets diverse, under-networked founders. Its initial focus is helping these early-stage founders create impactful, compelling, short pitch videos on a scalable platform called the Pitch it Plan™, or PiP. Pitch it Plan™ founders have gone on to raise rounds and have been accepted by prestigious accelerators like Y Combinator and MassChallenge.
