Impact investment is an opaque topic and can mean a variety of different approaches. ESG (Environmental, social and corporate governance) SDG (Sustainable Development Goals), Impact Investors… These investments have the intention to generate positive, measurable social and environmental impact alongside a financial return. However, both founders and investors should understand the opportunities of creating greater impact both in what they do AND how they run their companies AND understand exactly how this impacts communities around them (for good or bad). Join us as we’ll learn from experts inside and outside of the US on the opportunities and pitfalls of various types of Impact Investment and what lessons we can learn from these models.
