Maura McCarthy Maura has experience in venture capital and startup companies. As a venture capital associate at Ironwood Equity, a venture fund based in Boston, she was responsible for deal origination, industry research, transaction structuring, execution, and portfolio monitoring for emerging-growth companies in the healthcare, clean technology, and consumer products fields. She is also an advisory board member of New England Venture Network (NEVN), an industry organization of young professionals in venture capital, and is a frequent judge, coach and mentor on entrepreneurship at the MIT Enterprise Forum and Ignite Clean Energy Forum. Most recently, Maura Co-Founded a high tech housing company, Blu Homes (www.bluhomes.com), and serves as the VP of Business Development & Sales. She received a BA with honors from Georgetown University. |
