WHEN MORE THAN MONEY IS ON THE LINE:
John Crowley's Story of Funding, Running & Selling a
Life Sciences Company
John began his journey as an entrepreneur when two of his youngest children were diagnosed with Pompe disease - a rare genetic disorder that weakens the muscles of patients so that they cannot walk, talk or breathe on their own. John quit his job as a marketing executive and raised $27 million from venture capitalists and built a promising biotechnology company. Two years later he made an unimaginably successful sale for $137M to Genzyme.* Today he is CEO of Amicus Therapeutics which he recently led to an IPO.
The Capital Network (TCN) invites you to be part of its vibrant community of entrepreneurs, investors and sponsors to hear John Crowley tell his remarkable story of funding, running, & selling a life sciences company.
